Rolled recirculating ball screws offer many advantages: the transmission systems they are used on produce lower friction, thus enabling better machine performance but also quieter operation than equipment made using slide screws. Obtained by subjecting the threaded shaft to a deformation process known as “cold rolling”, the manufacture of this type of screw is even more cost and time effective.
