The nut accommodates the balls that create the precise, even and low-friction movement typical of B.B. brand screws. The nut is therefore a key component and at B.B. S.r.l. we strive continually to technically enhance this crucial element for ball recirculating screws.
Produced in compliance with B.B.’s most stringent technical specifications, the standard single flanged nut for rolled screws and ground screws also features the innovative internal recirculating system, where the track is divided into several circuits in which the balls run in a closed cycle where at the end of each revolution the balls return to the starting point. In this way, larger load capacities can be obtained by increasing the number of circuits in the nut rolling track, according to the information in the technical characteristics table.
For long-pitch nuts, B.B. has chosen a system where all the balls run along the entire length of the rolling track, exiting one end and re-entering the other via special deflectors.
